　　A newly revised version of the professional code of ethics for Chinese journalists was published on Sunday. The code said journalists must stick to a people-centered approach at work, respond to people's concerns and expectations in a timely manner and strengthen and improve oversight through public opinion.

　　1991年1月，中华全国新闻工作者协会第四届理事会第一次全体会议通过了《中国新闻工作者职业道德准则》。立足新时代的新形势新任务新要求，中华全国新闻工作者协会对准则进行了第四次修订。

　　新修订的《中国新闻工作者职业道德准则》提出，新闻工作者要坚持用习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想武装头脑，增强“四个意识”，坚定“四个自信”，做到“两个维护”，牢记党的新闻舆论工作职责使命，不断增强脚力、眼力、脑力、笔力，自觉遵守国家法律法规，恪守新闻职业道德，自觉承担社会责任，做政治坚定、引领时代、业务精湛、作风优良、党和人民信赖的新闻工作者。

　　准则强调，坚持新闻真实性原则，努力到一线、到现场采访核实，报道做到真实、准确、全面、客观，坚持网上网下“一个标准、一把尺子、一条底线”;坚持改进创新，遵循新闻传播规律和新兴媒体发展规律，强化互联网思维;增强法治观念，遵守党的新闻工作纪律，遵守新闻采访规范，尊重和保护新闻媒体作品版权;努力培养世界眼光和国际视野，生动诠释中国道路、中国理论、中国制度、中国文化，让世界更好地读懂中国。
